I wish it was a bit more affordable, because it is really handy and I would recommend to everyone. I live in Florida. It's our rainy season AND my husband builds docks for a living. This is the perfect size to hang in the entry way, where kids can hang their hats, shoes, anything to dry after walking home from school in the rain! Hubby throws his boots on it. It makes a difference within minutes. Takes minutes to dry gloves or hats. I appreciate the control and flexibility in the airflow. You can shut off all the parts you're not using to provide more flow to the area you need, like the feet. Different airflow settings, different temperature settings. The odor reduction really seems to help, especially with shoes. The whole thing is very user friendly, easy to set up, and even easy to disassemble if needed. The main head part can be used to dry or warm your hands.There is a lot of functionality in this unit and I'm actually very pleased I was given the chance to review this. My kids are constantly outside. These days they stay wet and I don't have to worry about their shoes stinking and getting ruined. Hubby can dry his boots for the next days use... and I'm thinking even warm them during the cold weather.Definitely a product to consider!

Okay…this thing is seriously bad to the bone! If you have wet shoes, gloves, cleats, or gear, this dryer is a game changer. One of my favorite features is that each arm can be individually turned on or off, which makes it super customizable depending on what you’re drying.It dries surprisingly fast, and I love that there are different settings to choose from depending on what you’re drying. The airflow is strong without feeling too harsh on shoes or delicate items. They call this thing a hedgehog, but it looks more like an alien to me. It's my new little alien buddy that breathes his hot breath into my boots and gloves! This little guy is awesome. It definitely looks odd and it will take up some wall space. I was able to find a spot in my basement that works well for it. There are 4 arms and two legs to dry out your gear. The arms and legs have shutters to close off air flow, but not individually - they work in pairs. You can close off the top two arms, and/or the lower two arms and/or the two legs. The arms are rigid and the legs are flexible tubes. There are quite a few settings for heat levels and timers. In my limited testing so far, I've found that this thing puts out a lot of heat. I'm really looking forward to using this for pre-warming my hunting gear next season, then drying everything afterwards. The controls are easy to use and it's fairly quiet.

This multi-wear dryer is awesome! It has multiple zones so you can dry only what you need. I really like that because I typically need to dry boots, gloves, and a hat all at once. If I only need to do boots, I can do that, only gloves, I can do that. This dryer has many options for heat, fan speed, time, and ionic. It doesn't keep your last setting which would be helpful but for me, in general, the lowest default settings work just fine. The mounting brackets work well, there is one for the base and one part way down the trunk so it's really stable on the wall. The only real negative, which is not really a negative considering what this does is, on the higher fan speed setting it can be a bit loud. Overall, this multi-wear dryer works great and can dry all of your stuff at once.

The glove and boot dryer has a flexible, attractive design and very nice-looking styling, and its controls are intuitive and easy to use, but the overall execution disappoints for a product at this price point: the fit and finish are poor, with multiple sharp edges that feel unfinished, shown in the second and third photos, and numerous sink marks from the molding process, shown in the fourth photo, that make the plastic look cheap and fragile.Functionally it dries effectively, but the noise level is a real drawback—at the lowest fan speed it is loud enough to be heard from the next room, which limits where you can place it in the house. The power cord’s bulky plug is impractical for likely mounting locations such as mudrooms or entryways; a flat plug would be far safer and neater.Wall mounting is unnecessarily difficult: the supplied screw heads are too large for the mounting parts, seen in the fifth and sixth photos, the mounting holes are not vertically aligned so even finding a stud doesn’t guarantee a secure install, shown in the seventh photo, and transferring hole positions to the wall is awkward because the unit must be held in place to keep the brackets aligned.In short, the dryer scores high on looks and ease of use but falls short on build quality, noise control, and installation design, forcing buyers to perform DIY fixes or accept compromises to get a clean, safe installation.

I have owned/tested lots of boot drying accessories and they are all about the same-mainly a hairdryer with a timer.Various iterations include attachments meant to pipe warm air into your wet clothing and I have found that this configuration is pretty efficient and easy to use.This device is meant to be permanently installed and wall anchors are included to do so. You need an electric outlet near to where you install it and a place to keep your boots underneath it while they dry. Because it needs to be attached to the wall, it isn't quite as versatile as more portable styles and you won't be able to easily take this on a ski vacay unless you are willing to MacGyver how you will use it.Assuming you are OK with installing this permanently, it is otherwise a pretty cool device, fairly compact in size and quiet enough in operation to not be a bother in the same room as you are watching TV. Airflow is somewhat less than a good hairdryer but more than sufficient to put out enough warm dry air to dry some gloves and shoes in just a few minutes. Various timing and speed (heat) options give you some control over how fast and furious the drying will be.As a value proposition, I am not impressed. I think it is a nice (maybe even cute) device but at the current offering not a great value at all.

This is a different item in our house for sure. It beats leaving your shoes outside overnight and risking the critters taking over. I think that overall it dried the shoes pretty good. The airflow is even. The fit was good for the shoe we tested. The dryer is durable though it looks like it doesn't handle much. The noise level I really couldn't speak that it is annoying because there is a lot going on around here with gadgets and things so it fit in which is good. Overall functionality is good.

lifesaver my stinky feet after work, the work boots and smaller accessories on this and it works amazing as a deodorizer and also just wicking sweat off of things I want to touch them and wash them really has been a lifesaver for stinky men

It’s not one of those things where you leave your boots overnight and hope for the best. This actually pushes warm air through pretty aggressively, and I’ve had sneakers and work boots come out dry in under an hour, sometimes way faster depending on how soaked they were. That lines up with what they advertise about using high airflow and heat settings to speed things up . The adjustable heat is nice too since I don’t want to cook my leather boots.Big plus for me is the capacity. I’ve got multiple pairs going at once, which is great after a wet commute or if you’ve got gym shoes, gloves, or even winter gear to dry. The longer prongs are actually useful for stuff like gloves and even boxing gloves, which I didn’t expect to use but ended up trying.Another thing I didn’t think I’d care about but actually do is the odor control. It really does help cut down that nasty damp shoe smell over time, especially if you let it run a bit longer the first few uses . My mudroom smells way less like a locker room now.That said, it’s not perfect. It’s a little bulky, especially if you’re tight on space. Not only is this dryer very effective, but it is also adorable, so cute. It is easy to use and has various settings. We unexpectedly had several snowstorms this winter, and I tried to dry my clothes and boots between shoveling, but I was unsuccessful. This Hedgehog Buddy is what I needed. I use it for more than drying boots and gloves. I also use it in my early learning center when I have to dry a child's shoes because they got wet while stomping in puddles. This Buddy has many uses. I even dry clothes on it after our kids play with the sensory table that contains water.Because it is so small and powerful, it is very portable. The heat is adjustable; however, I still do not use it around my little ones. It dries rather quickly, so it is good for drying a piece or two. You can also set the timer. I still use pieces of dryer sheets in the clothing, boots, and shoes to reduce any odors. It works and is worth the money.

While it looks kind of like a person standing, this is not freestanding. It mounts to a wall, which was initially discouraging but ultimately not hard. They did a nice job of desinging the mounts to fit the screws so well that it was easy to use the screws (set temporarily in the plastic mounts) to mark the hole locations on the wall. After that, drilling/screwing was easy. Since it's mounted to the wall, it's NOT a portable option. The timer is handy and the 4 upper and 2 lower drying vents make for good capacity. This provides good value for a relatively quiet (unless you really crank the fan!) and effective dryer for boots, glves and more. It functions quite well. The heat is subtle so don't expect blow-dryer level warmth coming out of each vent. However, the flow is overall quite good so drying capacity is really good and can be customized with temp/airflow and time once you get used to using it.

This glove and boot dryer is well built and works like a charm on my beekeeping suit, gloves and boots. I'm a bee keeper in Texas and during the summer months it's pretty hot in the bee yard. When I'm working in the bee yard I'm wearing my full bee suit and gloves and no surprise, it's hot and sweaty work. Frequently when I'm finish my boots and gloves are soaked with sweat as well as the bee suit. I find this dryer works very well for drying the gloves and boots and it does a pretty good job of drying the bee suit as well. Drying the bee yard protective gear quickly keeps the smell down and make putting on the equipment the next time more pleasant when it's dry. I also use the dryer after I wash the bee suit and gloves and it help dry the stuff out quickly and efficiently. The dryer is well built so it's durability should be good with a little care. The dryer works well and for the cost is well worth having for my application. The dryer temperature and time can be set as well as the fan speed to get the drying you need in the time you want. The dryers ionic feature is nice as it keep my boots from getting too rank.

I have to say when I saw this I thought it was just a funny gimmick. It is so much more. This easily handles my tallest boots. I prefer using convection or fan blown air without heat. The fan mode is quiet but moves plenty of air. I get a nice even dry without heat when I leave my boots overnight. When I need fast drying this can't be beat and typically takes a out 30 minutes to get them bone dry want and fresh smelling.The flexible extendible legs make this great for almost any size boot. The arms will easily handle most sneakers smaller hiking shoes or boots or gloves. This one of the best looking most versatile dryers I've tried out.Only thing it's missing is a way to use it without a wall mount. I'd like to see a self standing version or something like that.

This is an incredible boot and glove dryer. I own two. Five stars for me would be if the dryer remembered your last used settings. I can’t use heat on my boots but heat is on by default. I have to do 15 button presses each time to blast my boots on high with no heat.
